Danny Arévalo is the founder and lead pastor of Freedom Church in New Westminster, BC. He serves alongside his wife, Alison, and their three children.
About Danny
Danny Arévalo is the founder and lead pastor of Freedom Church, located in New Westminster and Kamloops, British Columbia.
With more than 15 years of ministry experience, he has served in various roles in churches and organizations across North America. He also serves on the Revitalization Church Health Team for the Free Methodist Church in Canada.
Danny is passionate about helping churches become healthy, Spirit-filled communities by faithfully teaching Scripture, developing leaders, and leading organizations through seasons of growth, revitalization, and multiplication.
Danny and Alison have three children: Arya, Josias and Poema.
Ministry Calling
I didn't grow up imagining I would become a pastor. In my teenage years, life changed dramatically after losing my mother in a tragic car accident. That season left me searching for hope and purpose. Through the love of people who faithfully shared the Gospel, I encountered Jesus in a way that completely transformed my life. What began as personal restoration became a lifelong calling to help others discover the same hope and freedom found in Christ.
Over the past fifteen years, God has given me the privilege of serving churches in Canada and the United States in a variety of leadership roles, including church revitalization, discipleship, leadership development, and multi-site ministry. Today, I serve as Lead Pastor of Freedom Church in British Columbia and lead the Church Revitalization Health Team for the Free Methodist Church in Canada. I have the opportunity to help churches grow healthier, develop leaders, and reach their communities with the Gospel.
My passion is simple: faithfully preach God's Word, develop leaders, and help build churches that make disciples for generations to come.
